POWER READINGS.
TRAINER CONTROL.
Resistance that follows the workout.
In ERG mode, Trbo sends the interval’s power target to a compatible trainer, which adjusts resistance. Trbo implements Bluetooth FTMS control and a proprietary Wahoo control fallback. The model and firmware must support and accept those commands.
Power readings without resistance control.
A device using Bluetooth Cycling Power Service can supply power readings. That tells Trbo how hard you are riding, but a power-only connection cannot change resistance.
ANT+ is not supported.
An ANT+-only trainer cannot connect directly to Trbo. Look for supported Bluetooth services, not just the word “smart” on the box.
Check readiness before riding.
Close competing trainer apps, enable Bluetooth and allow permission. In Trbo, check connection, fresh power and ERG readiness. You can copy a sanitised support report if something fails.
Mac connection guideA supported protocol is not the same as a verified model. Send us your trainer model, device and browser so we can check your setup with you.
